Deleting Your Game- It does NOT delete your horses at first!

So most people seem to think that if you put your horses up for sale and then delete your account you also delete the horses. I have tried and tried to explain to them that this isn't so but it hasn't worked. So I am going to try to explain something here in clearer terms.The only thing "deleted" is your personal page. if will say "this person is no longer on Howrse" if you attempt to access it. But everything else related to the player stays for 5 days and THEN is deleted if the player doesn't log in during that time and cancel the deletion. In fact your page is not deleted. It is only hidden- if you log in it will re appear.

So here is a message posted in chrissyh's "stop bullying" topic in her forum:

It was posted by juliamon who has 121 days on the game and Snowy Dawn Stables is her EC.

So I went to her page to congratulate her, but this was showed up when I clicked on her username:

Now, you see their page is gone. Yet their details (user, karma, EC, days seniority, etc) have not. Thus her page is the only thing missing. Then nothing connected to her account is gone yet. Just to show you though, I next went to her EC. The page is still up as you can see:

I was even able to post in the Guestbook:

Plus the center itself still shows up when you search for it, thus proving the game still counts it as "open".

In fact I was even able to board my horse Bayfire in Snowy Dawn Stables:

So as you can see everything of a player's is not always deleted- their page is hidden, but everything else is there until 5 days after they deleted it if they didn't log in during that time period.
After the five days (I think the player in question left on either the 3rd or 4th of this month, June 2013) I will try to visit all these paged and see what happens, and post them up here. I will also see what it says happened to Bayfire's boarding (if it runs out before then I will re-board). Check back!
